A few things I'd like to call out: - To schedule, I used the website. The next morning, I got a text saying "A spot opened up sooner than expected, and we can get you in, if you can make it." I replied and got scheduled minutes later. - At dropoff, I mentioned a few things--oil leak, oil light blinking, gas pedal hard to push. Said they'd do a multi-point inspection, too. - Received an email with photos of the things they were concerned with from the inspection, and recommendations. Not pushy, just factual. - Received an estimate email with clear indication of what was happening. Transcription of what I said, on the estimate: "CHECK FOR OIL LEAK AROUND OIL FILTER LEAKS MORE WHEN VEHICLE IS RUNNING ALSO THE OIL LIGHT STAYS ON" Technician comments, after evaluation: "A visual inspection of the undercarriage made it abundantly clear that the oil pressure switch is the primary leak. The switch should be replaced immediately." - The initial estimate (which I was happy with) had a part cost including a few components. Craig indicated that only one piece ended up needing replacement, so the parts estimate went down accordingly. I don't know what else to say--they took me seriously, they checked the stuff I was worried about, as they were checking they lubed some stuff up to help (with the gas pedal) without charging anything, they were excellent communicators from scheduling to estimate to pickup. This is my new shop. Thank you, Dickerson Automotive.
